SUNLU

Prepare filament for your next project with SUNLU. FilaDryer S2 dries and stores a spool, while FC01 joins filament. The two devices address different needs: managing moisture and making fuller use of your material.

Drying or joining filament with SUNLU

Choose FilaDryer S2 when a spool requires drying within the device’s supported range. Match the material’s drying requirements to the dryer: one temperature is not suitable for every polymer.

SUNLU FC01 is a connector for 1.75 mm filament. When joining leftovers, choose compatible materials and inspect the finished joint before feeding it into the printer. Browse other filament dryers and dry boxes for spool preparation.

Frequently asked questions about SUNLU

How does a dryer differ from a dry box?

Active drying removes moisture through controlled heating. A storage box helps limit renewed moisture absorption. Dry storage does not replace drying when the filament needs it.

Can S2 dry every engineering filament?

Check the specific material requirements. S2 reaches 70°C; if the technical data sheet requires a higher temperature, choose a dryer that supports it.

Can FC01 join any two polymers?

A physical joint does not establish material compatibility. Different polymers need different temperatures and behave differently during extrusion; follow the connector and material instructions.
