EinScan Rigil Lite

EinScan Rigil Lite is an all-in-one laser 3D scanner from the Rigil series, built for professional work without a mandatory laptop. It combines blue laser scanning, IR VCSEL, onboard computing, local storage and a 6.4-inch 2K AMOLED touchscreen, so the operator can scan, process, measure and export directly on the device or switch to a computer for heavier projects.

This product is available in two selectable versions: Standard and Limited Edition. The scanning optics, laser modes, IR mode, cameras, touchscreen, batteries, dimensions and supported file formats are the same. The difference is RAM and SSD storage, which matters for standalone processing, larger projects and keeping more scan data locally.

Standard vs Limited Edition: what is the real difference?

Important: Standard is not a weaker scanner. It uses the same 17+17 crossed blue laser lines, 7 parallel blue laser lines, IR VCSEL, 5 MP texture camera and scan modes. Limited Edition adds more RAM and twice the SSD storage, which mainly helps with larger datasets and on-device processing.

Scanning modes and data quality

In Laser HD mode, the scanner uses 17+17 crossed blue laser lines for fast coverage and stable tracking, plus 7 parallel blue laser lines for areas where fine detail matters. This lets you capture the overall shape efficiently and then focus on edges, transitions and complex contours.

IR Rapid uses IR VCSEL for wide coverage and smoother work with larger objects, organic forms and portraits. Both Standard and Limited Edition support the same scanning modes, the same 5 MP texture camera and the same output formats.

Workflow: standalone or with a computer

The standalone workflow is the main operational advantage of Rigil Lite: calibration, scanning, data review, editing, measurement and export can happen on the device. For more complex scenes, you can move to PC-Wireless or PC-Wired mode without changing the project logic.

Software and professional use

EinScan Rigil Lite works with the EinScan App, EXScan Rigil and EXModel ecosystem. This covers scanning, point cloud and mesh editing, alignment, measurement, reverse engineering preparation and export into the next CAD, CAM or 3D printing step.

For difficult surfaces - transparent, glossy, very dark or low-feature objects - preparation still matters: markers, suitable exposure, stable positioning and scanning spray when needed. This is a normal constraint in professional 3D scanning, not a limitation unique to this model.
