Filalab PLA for models and visual prototypes
Filalab PLA has a 1.75 mm diameter and 1 kg net filament quantity. It is suitable for FDM/FFF 3D printers that use this diameter and support PLA. Use it for visual prototypes, scale models, decorative objects, educational projects and demonstration parts.
Before a series of models, calibrate temperature, flow and the first layer for your printer. Results depend on geometry, the profile, material condition and the build surface.

- Nozzle temperature: 210–230°C (220–230°C on Bambu Lab printers).
- Build plate temperature: 50–65°C.
- Fan speed: 80–100%.
- Printing speed: 40–250 mm/s.
- Drying when needed: 6–12 hours at 55°C.
Applications and limitations
It is practical for checking shape and assembly, design models, souvenirs and educational demonstrations. For sustained heat or strong impacts, evaluate whether PLA suits the task and test the finished model under its intended conditions.
Keep an opened spool in a dry, sealed environment. For automatic feeding, check spool dimensions and free rotation: accepting 1.75 mm filament does not by itself guarantee compatibility with every spool holder.
