X1E offers the option to connect to your devices via its newly added Ethernet port, providing stable network communication in complex environments. Ethernet connectivity can also be used in crowded environments with wireless signals. Additionally, X1E provides WPA2-Enterprise Wi-Fi authentication (EAP-PEAP/EAP-TLS/TAP-TTLS) and individual physical switches for Wi-Fi and Ethernet, meeting strict network security requirements.
Fully functional with LAN-only mode
X1E can operate independently without a connection to Bambu Cloud Service, fully functional within your local network. Customers can remotely manage the X1E via LAN communication without the need for an internet connection.
Air filtration for heavy-duty operation
Bambu Lab combines a G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA filter, and a high-quality activated carbon filter made from coconut shells to ensure optimal air filtration. The improved filtration can effectively reduce excessive odors and particles when printing in less ventilated environments.
Active heating and controlled temperature in the chamber - Reduce warping, improve layer adhesion
X1E can actively heat and regulate the temperature of the chamber. The precisely controlled chamber temperature (up to 60°C or 140°F) enhances print quality, especially for warp-prone materials like ABS and PC.
More heat for higher temperature materials
The higher nozzle temperature enables the printing of higher performance materials such as PPA-CF/GF PPS and PPS-CF. These new materials have better dimensional stability, heat resistance, and mechanical properties.
High-Speed CoreXY - Super fast and sturdy structure for continuous high-speed printing
The superior carbon fiber rods in the CoreXY motion structure allow the X1E to achieve a tool head acceleration of 20,000 mm/s² by reducing the weight of the moving parts. This faster acceleration enables the X1E to maintain its maximum movement speed of 500 mm/s for longer periods, significantly reducing the overall printing time.
Vibration and extrusion compensation - stable and high-quality prints even at higher speeds
X1E can actively compensate for vibrations along the XY axis and extrusion issues to ensure exceptionally smooth print quality. All measurements are fully automated, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.
AI Fault Detection - Reduce thread loss and machine downtime
The X1E artificial intelligence algorithm can detect imperfections in the first layer using Lidar and computer vision. It then automatically stops the print to prevent unwanted damage.
Supports automatic filament reloading and allows multi-material printing with support material for improved surface quality
X1E can connect up to 4 Bambu AMS printing systems in parallel with up to 16 spools of filaments, suitable for printing special support materials for seamless surfaces and multi-color prints. The AMS system also supports automatic filament reloading to use all filaments on one spool before switching to the next.
