In the box, you will usually find the scanner, batteries/charger, carrying case, calibration plate, holder, cables, and markers—that is, everything needed for the first scan. Install the software, perform the calibration, and follow the startup guide.

Clean the optics only with a soft microfiber cloth and a suitable solution; do not use abrasives. Store in the case in a dry place, protect the batteries from extreme temperatures, and update the firmware/software promptly.
